Alta Mae Arnold

Alta Mae Arnold, age 77, of Evening Shade, Arkansas died Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at her home. She was born March 26, 1935 in Caraway, Arkansas to Bill and Hattie (Soles) Walls. She was a homemaker and a member of the Campground Community Church. Alta was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Larry Arnold; and four brothers, Ed Junior, Billy Walls, Jalaw Walls, and Vernon Walls. Survivors include her husband, Frank Arnold, of the home; four sons, Frankie Arnold and wife Neoma of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Michael Walls and wife Missy of Evening Shade, Arkansas, Bobby Walls and wife Jenniffer of Bradford, Arkansas, and Donnie Walls of Evening Shade, Arkansas; one daughter, Della McFarlin of Evening Shade, Arkansas; five sisters, Sue Mason of Bald Knob, Arkansas, Mary Cates of Evening Shade, Arkansas, Ann Burkett of Sherwood, Arkansas, Amy Harmon of Cave City, Arkansas, and Sharen Hammon of Bald Knob, Arkansas; twelve Grandchildren; eight Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will begin Friday, October 26, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel, located in Highland, Arkansas, with Jack Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery located in Evening Shade, Arkansas. Visitation will be Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel located in Highland, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Jim Shands, Everett Shands, Larry Sharp, Micheal Arnold, Marc Manning, Colby Ayers, and Malcom Thomas. Honorary Pallbearer is Howard Welch.
