Mary Ann (Roe) Dennis

Mary Ann (Roe) Dennis, age 76 of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, died Saturday, February 02, 2013 at her home. She was born January 31, 1937 in Caraway, Arkansas to Adis and Ruth (Peterson) Roe. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Mary worked along side her husband Bud Dennis for many years on their farm. She was a member of the Cherokee Village United Methodist Church and an avid golfer with the ladies of Cherokee Village. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bud Dennis; and one brother, Sonny Roe. Survivors include one son, David Dennis and wife Kim of Lake Providence, Louisiana; one daughter, Dava Kimball and husband Kevin of Lafayette, Louisiana; one brother, Roy Roe; two sisters, Melba Wren of Bassett, Arkansas and Susie Henard of Caraway, Arkansas; seven Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Cherokee Village United Methodist Church with Rev. Ted DeWeese officiating.
