Karen L. Begalske, age 59 of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, died June 4, 2013 at her home in Cherokee Village. She was born October 30, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to Malcolm E. and Lila P. (Marcheschi) Davis. She was a waitress at Lakeview Dinette for 25 years. Karen was an avid boater and gardener. She loved animals, being outside, enjoying the sunshine, and fishing. She was always taking care of people and always put the needs of others before herself. Karen loved her family deeply. She was a wonderful companion, loving mother, and friend to many. She was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, Vern Begalske. Survivors include her husband, Rollin Begalske of the home; two sons, Marty Gorskey and wife Stephanie of Wheeler, Mississippi and Kevin Gorskey and wife Sunshine of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; three brothers, Steve Davis and wife Dolores of Streamwood, Illinois, John Davis and wife Denise of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, and Cherry Davis and wife Linda of Newbern, Tennessee; four Grandchildren, Andrew Blaine Johnson, Jacob Aaron Gorskey, Madison Rae Gorskey, and Megan Grace Gorskey; one Great Grandchild, Billy Andrew Johnson; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel, located in Highland, Arkansas, with Gerald Bounds officiating. Burial will follow in the Camp Cemetery located in Camp, Arkansas. All arrangements are by Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas. www.tricountyfuneralhome.com
