John Burl Sitz, Jr.

John Burl Sitz, Jr., age 69 of Williford, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas. He was born August 13, 1944 in Inglewood, California to John Burl Sr. and Helen (Watkins) Sitz. He did custom paint and body work for many years. John was of the Baptist faith and was the co-founder of the N.E.A.S.R.A. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include two sons, John L. Sitz of Williford, Arkansas and Jason A. Sitz of Lake City, Arkansas; one sister, Ruth A. Matson of Laguna Woods, California; one brother, Jim Sitz of Hardy, Arkansas; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Caraway Cemetery located in Caraway, Arkansas. All arrangements are by Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas. www.tricountyfuneralhome.com
