Mildred Lee Short

Mildred Lee Short, age 95 of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, passed away March 27, 2014 at the Ash Flat Nursing and Rehab Center in Ash Flat, Arkansas. She was born May 11, 1918 in Williamson County, Illinois to Joe and Ollie (Shelton) Short. Mildred was a manager for Sears and Roebuck for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Woodson; her son, Thomas Louis Woodson; one brother; and two sisters. Survivors include one grandchild; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will begin Monday, March 31, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel located in Highland, Arkansas. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery located in Memphis, Tennessee. Visitation will be held Monday, March 31, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel located in Highland, Arkansas.
