Mazie Marie Smock

Mazie Marie Smock, 92, of Fort Walton, Florida, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014, in Ash Flat, Arkansas. She was born in Doniphan, Missouri, on November 3, 1921, to George and Minnie Mitchell Bruce. Mrs. Smock was a homemaker of the Catholic faith and a member of the Republican Party. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold "Hal" R. Smock, a brother Jack Bruce, and sisters Avis Longcoy and Wilma Butler. Survivors include sons Bruce (Barbara) Smock of Newport, Arkansas, and J.D. Smock of Louisiana; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
