Carrie Evelyn Morris

Carrie Evelyn Morris, 87, of Williford, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at her home in Williford. She was born on September 23, 1927, in Williford to William and Alma Mazine (Yates) Hughes. Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Joe T. Morris; a son Ronald Joe Morris; brothers James William (J.W.), Milton, and Jerry Hughes; grandchildren Aaron and Madelaine Morris. Survivors include a son Dale Morris of Williford and a daughter Melissa Brown of Kissimmee, Florida; brothers Bill, Jack, and Gordan Hughes; sisters Nina Louise Moore and Eva Jo Goings; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will take place in the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel in Highland on Monday, December 15, at 2:00 P.M. with Brad Hartness officiating and ceremony by Order of the Eastern Star. Burial will follow in Baker Cemetery near Ozark Acres. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until time of service. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
