George Rickert

George A. Rickert, 71, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, formerly of Bartlett, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born November 15, 1943, in Berwyn, Illinois, to George and Vernell (Sackhoff) Rickert. He had worked as a machinist and security guard for many years and was a member of Highland Hills Baptist Church. Mr. Rickert was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Cheryl. Survivors include his sons, Ron Jackson and Charles Rickert, both of Cherokee Village; his sister, Carol Schaffert of Cherokee Village; one grandson, Kaden Rickert; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be Thursday, April 9, at 6 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Cherokee Village with Bro. Larry White officiating. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
