Rae Lynn Gossell

Rae Lynn Gossell, 73, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, was born September 18, 1941, in Rockford, Illinois. She passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015, at her home. Rae had worked as a waitress and was of the Lutheran faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Madelyne Swartz Pohl. Survivors include her special friend, Leslie R. Schwebke of Cherokee Village; sons Richie Swanson of Illinois, Kerry Swanson of Minnesota, and David Swanson of Illinois; daughters, Cindy McCarty of Colorado and Kathy Gilroy of Arizona; brothers, Ron Pohl and Dale Pohl, both of Illinois; sisters Carol Powers of Arkansas and Roxanne Tucker of Illinois; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
