Raymond Parks

Arthur Raymond Parks, 80, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Ash Flat Healthcare Center. He was born April 15, 1935, in Osceola, Arkansas. His main occupation was farming. Mr. Parks was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Beulah Westbrook Parks; his wife Ollie Mae; and his son Darnell. Survivors include his sons, Wayne of Cherokee Village and Rocky (Kim) of Wauchula, Fla.; his daughters, Patricia (Henry) Brooks of Evening Shade, Brenda (Burl) Eddings of Cherokee Village, Rita Allison of Bowling Green, Fla., and Judy (Keith) Powell of Wauchula, Fla.; his sisters, Linda Parks of Leachville, Ark. and Shirley Johnson of Bolliver, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Private services will be held by the family at a later date. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
