William Hamilton

William W. Hamilton, 80, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, was born October 18, 1935, at Selma, Iowa, to Lewis W. and Bernice Kunzman Hamilton. He died November 18, 2015, at the White River Medical Complex Emergency Room in Cherokee Village. He had worked as a math teacher for 40 years and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Ottawa, Illinois. Mr. Hamilton also participated in Kiwanis, the Cherokee Village Men's Golf Association, and the Pepsi-Cola Collectors Club. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Joel; and a brother, Kenneth. He is survived by his wife Linda of the home. William and Linda were married June 28, 1959, at Eldon, Iowa. Also surviving are his daughters and their spouses, Lisa (Trevor) Hamilton of Vista, California, and Nina (Robert) Whitlow of Cherokee Village; a brother, Ron Hamilton of Minnesota; a sister, Marcene Anderson of Iowa; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held by the family at a later date in Eldon, Iowa. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
