Joe Yates

Joe Ramon Yates, 89, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, died Monday, January 25, 2016, at Ash Flat Healthcare & Rehab Center. He was born November 20, 1926, at Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a carpenter, and a member of the Church of Christ. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, John J. and Rachel Benton Yates, two brothers, and one sister. Survivors include his son Charles (Sandy) Taylor of Platte City, Missouri; a brother, Billy Yates, and a sister, Margaret Salders. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
