Ellen Klostermann

Ellen Louise (Stewart) Klostermann, 95, of Hardy, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at EagleCrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Ash Flat, Arkansas. She was born June 4, 1920, to Robert Gibbon and Jessie Pearl Whitaker Thompson at Baldwin, Mississippi. She was of the Church of Christ faith and enjoyed tying fly jigs for trout fishermen. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, James Malburn Stewart and second husband, Frank Klostermann; four brothers and one sister. Survivors include her daughter, Julia (Rayburn) Lindsey of Hardy, Arkansas, and her son, Marcus (Kathy) Stewart of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. No services are planned at this time. Memorials may be made in her honor to Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th floor, New York, NY 10001. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
