Orland Grissom

Orland Edward Grissom, 78, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at his home. He was born November 25, 1937, at Ash Flat. He worked as a carpenter and was a Mason and member of First Baptist Church in Hardy. Orland was preceded in death by his parents, John and Retta Herron Grissom; a brother, Willard Grissom; and a sister, Eunice Grissom Melton. Survivors include his wife, Georgia; children, Kevin (Amy) Grissom of Ash Flat and Gina (Tim) Abney of Agnos; sister, Linda Dawson of Mountain Home; grandchildren, Josh (Shanna) Smith, Zac Smith, Kailee Abney, and Payne Abney; great-grandchildren, Mickayla, Talmadge, Lyndee, and Deacon Smith; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, in First Baptist Church, Hardy with Dr. Larry Kindrick officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Old Baptist Cemetery in Ash Flat. Pallbearers include Jeremy Lewis, Jason Stephens, Larry Lewis, Garry Duhme, Jason Hyslip, and Johnny Ray Hyslip. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
