Mary Adams

Mary Ruth Adams, 69, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, died Sunday, May 15, 2016, at her home. She was born November 10, 1946, at Lonoke, Arkansas. She was a housewife, loving wife and mother. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, John and Maimi (Colter) Carmichael, four brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her husband, Carthel Adams of the home; children, David (Paulette) Adams of Trumann, Arkansas, Phillip Adams and his fiancee Michelle Harrington of Conway, Arkansas, Michael Adams of Batesville, Arkansas, Brian (Lisa) Adams of Bradenton, Florida, Christal Hughes and Amanda Adams, both of the home; a brother, Jim Carmichael of Arkansas; sisters, Fran Carmichael of Ohio, Mary Ellen Carmichael, Nancy Butler, and Carolyn Steffey, all of Arkansas; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be announced by the family. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
