James Jackson

James Lee Roy Jackson, 87, of Couch, Missouri, died Monday, July 25, 2016, at Ash Flat, Arkansas. He was born June 6, 1929, at Peoria, Illinois. Mr. Jackson served in the U.S. Navy for seven years and was a Merchant Seaman for 35 years. He worked as a truck driver for 10 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Anna Closen Jackson; five brothers and one sister. Survivors include three brothers, Jay Perry Jackson of California, Gerald Jackson of Toulon, Illinois, and William Jackson of Bryan, Texas; two sisters, Phyllis Cravens of Toulon, Illinois, and Harriet Osbourne of Marseilles, Illinois; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
