William Hudson

William Hudson, 68, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, formerly of Clinton, Iowa, died Tuesday, August 23, 2016. He was born May 13, 1948, at Clinton, Iowa, to William Raymond and Darlene Emma (Vogt) Hudson. Bill was a member of Cherokee Village Lutheran Church, serving as president of the church council, and he was a past treasurer of Elvira Zion Lutheran Church, Elvira, Iowa. He loved golfing, fishing, and playing cards and was a member of Ducks Unlimited. Bill had worked as a purchasing manager and buyer for DuPont, International Paper, PMX, and ADM. He was past president of IMC. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Hudson. Survivors include his wife, LaVonne; children, Jeffrey Hudson of Tipton, Iowa, Kelly (Shane) Cooney of Clear Lake, Iowa, Trisha (Joshua) Hallerberg of Arvada, Colorado, Trinda (Edward Stanford) Nelson of Ripon, California; siblings, Phyllis (Michael) Roth and Ronald Hudson; grandchildren, Wil and Riley Cooney, Emma and Riya Hallerberg, Keegan and Kade Nelson; two stepgrandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be at a later date. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
