Alice Benson

Alice C. Benson, 91, of Cherokee Village, passed away February 22, 2017. She was born April 4, 1925, in Chicago, Illinois. Alice was a Roman Catholic and a member of St. Michael's Church and the Women's Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister; her husbands, Steve Zieler and Ira Benson; sons, Wally Zieler, Craig and Dwight Benson; and long-time friend Ed Halicki. Survivors include her sons, Jim and Bob Zieler; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many other relatives and good friends. The celebration of the Holy Mass will be 9 a.m. Thursday, March 2, with burial in St. Michael's Columbarium.
