Nora Humphreys

Nora Mae Humphreys, 73, of Sidney, Arkansas, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. Nora was born February 5, 1944, in Harrisburg, Arkansas, to William and Odeana (Propes) Haigwood. She had worked as an over-the-road truck driver and loved to travel and participate in outdoor activities. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond; a son, Larry; and a sister, Fran Anglum. Survivors include her children, Tina (Mark) Cochran of Wayneboro, Mississippi, and Curtis Humphreys (Susan Butterfield) of Sidney; a brother, Wayne Haigwood; a sister, Anne Nichols; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and good friends. A visitation of family and friends will begin at noon Tuesday, June 13, in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Lee's Chapel Cemetery at Sandtown, south and west of Cave City, Arkansas.
