Audrey Hardy

Vola Audrey Hardy, 97, of Beebe, Arkansas, formerly of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019.  She was born December 2, 1921, in Aubrey, Arkansas. Audrey attended First Baptist Church in Cherokee Village.  She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in both El Paso, Texas, and Hardy, Arkansas (Ruby Chapter).  She had served as President and Volunteer Coordinator of the Eastern Ozarks Hospital Auxiliary.   Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, John Daniel and Ozella Judith (Caudell) Sammons; husbands, Robert Stanford and James Hardy;  daughter, Barbara Ann Avant; granddaughter, Sandra Avant; and brothers, Jack and Jerry Sammons. Survivors include her son, Richard Wayne Stanford; granddaughter, Yvetta Stanford; her sister, Sarah A. "Bonnie" Hilburn; as well as several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 9, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas, with Bro. Larry White officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery at Highland. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to Gideon Bible Society, P.O. Box 306, Ash Flat, AR 72513.
