Barbara Ann Bell

Barbara Ann Bell, 79, of Ash Flat, Arkansas (formerly of Dexter, Michigan) passed away from complications of Alzheimer's on June 10, 2023. She was born February 7, 1944 in Springville, Iowa to Ralph and Grace "Clark" Ralston. Shortly after graduating from high school in Anamosa, Iowa, she moved to Washington, D.C. where she worked in the Pentagon for the U. S. Department of Defense. There she met Norman Bell, and they were united in marriage June 18, 1966. After his service in the U.S. Air Force, they moved to Norman's hometown of Dexter, Michigan where they lived and raised their family until retiring to Arkansas in 1999. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Sherrill (Frank) Ferguson; son, Ricky (Kerry) Bell; son, Alan Bell; grandchildren: Brynn and Grace Ferguson, Mackenzie and Makayla Bell, Autumn and Ashley Bell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman and grandson, Jacob Ferguson. The family had a private ceremony.
