Billy Pierce

Billy Pierce, 94, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas passed away September 1, 2022. He was born July 16, 1928 in Monette, Arkansas to W.O. (Bill) and Leona Patton Pierce. He was preceded in death by his wife Norma, his son Richard, and his parents. Survivors include his son, Claude (Brenda) of Cherokee Village; a daughter-in-law, Melanie of Manchester, Tennessee; a daughter, Whitney Hickman (Chris) of Mountain Home, Arkansas, two step-daughters: Leigh Ann Sublett (Dennis) of Ash Flat, Arkansas and Rhonda Hutchison of Jonesboro, Arkansas, one step-son, Danny Troutman (Audrey) of Jonesboro. Bill had six grandchildren: Shannon, Trina, Desiree, Crystal, Scott, and Richard II; seven step-children: Andrea, Courtney, Garrett, Brad, Ross, Daxton, and Briley; 13 great-grandchildren, 8 step-great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren along with many good friends. Bill was a member of Highland Hills Baptist Church. He had retired from United Telephone Company after 39 years of work. He also retired as a valued bus driver from Highland School District after 15 years. He was an avid member of the Highland Booster Club for the Rebels. Bill also liked "his" Hogs (Arkansas Razorbacks). A private memorial will be at a later date. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
