Robert "Bob" Eugene Zeiger, 75, of Hardy, Arkansas passed away March 22, 2023 in Cherokee Village, Arkansas. He was born November 23, 1947 in Hardy and was a graduate in the first class at Highland High School in May 1965. Bob served the local public as a firefighter for 35 years and also worked as a licensed broker in real estate. He was a member of Liberty Hill Church and had served on the board of Spring River Adult & Child Services. Bob enjoyed farming, horseback riding, and tractors. He loved his sons and was a recognized "miracle cancer survivor" several times by family and medical personnel. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ida Davis Zeiger; a sister, Louise Utley; and the mother of his sons, Rhonda Martin. Survivors include his wife, Debi Orr Zeiger, whom he married March 18, 1994; three boys: Michael "Mike" (Tammy), Robbie (Vicky), and Adam (Marie), all of Hardy; a step-son, Shane Russell (Alanna); eight grandchildren: Jessica Shaw (Shelby), Beau Zeiger (Ciara), John Zeiger (Katalina),McKenzie Zeiger-Fletcher (Hunter), Wyatt Zeiger, Jakob "Jake" Zeiger, Mashaia Trivitt (Bryce), and Eutah Russell (Marly); eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Rogers and Anna May Davenport; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and a host of good friends. Services will begin at noon Saturday, March 25, in the Liberty Hill Church, 190 Ridge Road, Sharp County, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Walker Cemetery (east of Hardy) and Liberty Hill Church. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
