Danny Gwaltney

Danny Ray Gwaltney, 65, of rural Ash Flat, Arkansas passed away December 9, 2021 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home. He was born September 7, 1956 in Rockford, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, Velmer and Pernia (Waites) Gwaltney; an infant sister, Audrey; and a brother, A.L. Gwaltney. Danny enjoyed hunting and fishing to take a break from baling hay. Survivors include his wife, Felicia; daughters, Gloria McKenzie (Lonnie) of Cherokee Village and Elizabeth Austin (Bruce) of North Highlands, California; a step-son, Alvin Leon Tipton; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Leon Gwaltney (Emma); sisters, Rachel Britts (Ron) and Patsy Gwaltney; many other relatives and good friends. Family and friends will have a Celebration of Life service at noon Saturday, December 18, at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland, Arkansas.
