David Finchem

We regret the loss of our brother, David Brent Finchem of Hardy, Arkansas. He was born December 21, 1961 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

David fought cancer for months and passed away January 4, 2026. He was 64 years old. David loved hunting for Indian arrowheads, collecting old coins, fishing, playing guitar, and taking care of his animals. 

He adored his family and talked about his times as a child living on the farm in Iowa. David also loved the Lord and often talked about Him to family.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Marlin Calvin and Veda Pauline North Finchem; a brother, Myron Charles Finchem; his grandparents, Sam and Olive Finchem as well as Ernest and Ollie North; and two nieces.

Survivors include four sisters: Pamela Millsap and Cathy Severn, both of Bandera, Texas, Patricia Finchem of Ash Flat, Arkansas, and Sandi (Butch) Harmon of Hardy; two aunts; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of David's life will be April 18 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home, 1540 Hwy. 62/412, Highland, AR 72542.
