Dennis Tremain

Dennis James Tremain, 80, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas passed away Friday, August 14, 2026 at White River Health in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born March 7, 1946 in Monroe, Michigan to Keith Argus and Lydia Marie Layman Tremain and grew up in Petersburg, Michigan. Dennis proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.

He retired from Lima, Ohio Ford Motor Company where he worked on the assembly line. He and his wife, Treva, moved to Cherokee Village and helped raise their grandson, Nico. While living in Arkansas, Dennis was an active member of a local VFW Honor Guard and volunteered at Peace Lutheran Church.

Dennis was preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Treva Ann Kohli Tremain.

Survivors include his children: Jaison, Todd, and Michelle; four grandchildren; and many other relatives and good friends.

Services will begin with visitation at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25, in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home, 1540 Hwy. 62/412, Highland, AR 72542. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
