Lou Beasley

Eleanor Lou Beasley, 96, passed away at her home near Ash Flat, Arkansas. She was born in Stuttgart, Arkansas, to Theodore and Hattie (Helbach) Dunn, both who preceded her in death as did her husband, Bernard, and daughter, Mandy. Mrs. Beasley was a Christian of the Baptist faith. She was the ultimate pastor's wife working alongside her husband as Bro. Beasley served churches in Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama. She retired as librarian from Highland Middle School in Highland, Arkansas, where she guided hundreds of students. Survivors include her nephews William Tilley of Texas and Richard Woodhouse of Pennsylvania as well as her grandchildren, Anneleise and Joby. A graveside memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 8, in Oaklawn Cemetery at Highland with Johnny Carter officiating. In lieu of flowers, make a donation to benefit those in sincere need of food, shelter, or protection.
