Eugene Ivey

Eugene "Gene" Ivey, 77, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas passed away at EagleCrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ash Flat, Arkansas. He was of the Christian faith and attended Common Ground Church in Thayer, Missouri. His working career was a sincerely conscientious over-the-road truck driver.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Esther (Earls) Ivey; a brother, Leroy Ivey; and a sister, Laverne Wrenfrow.

Survivors are his companion and love of his life, Linda Clear; daughters: Regina Rodriguez (Michael) of Dodge City, Kansas, Ladina Shearrer of Cookson, Oklahoma, and Tiffany Morehead (Eric) of Franklin, Arkansas; grandchildren: Tyson and Roman Rodriguez, Phylesha and Colby Craft; many other relatives and numerous good friends. 

Services for Eugene Ivey will be Monday, June 30, 2025 in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home, 1540 Hwy. 62/412, Highland, AR 72542. Visitation of family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. Dean Bennett will officiate. 

Burial will be in Field Creek Cemetery south of Mammoth Spring just off U.S. Hwy. 63. Pallbearers will include grandsons: Tyson, Colby, and Roman along with Eric Morehead, Dakota Collins, Mark Harmon, and Denny Walsh. Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Wrenfrow, Charles Ivey, and Michael Rodriguez.
