Garey Moore

Garey Randall Moore, 51, of Ash Flat, Arkansas passed away June 25, 2021 in Batesville at White River Medical Center. He was born March 5, 1970 in Chicago, Illinois to Carey and Joan (Hembree) Moore. Garey had worked as a firefighter and paramedic in Ash Flat, Highland, and Ozark Acres. He set up the 911 dispatch system for Sharp County. Other survivors include his two sons: Josh of Hardy and Joseph (Letha) of Paragould; three grandchildren: Emmaleigh Charlotte, Athena Rain, & Cameron Mathew; his parents; a sister, Tonya of Ash Flat; a brother, Tim of Walnut Ridge; many other relatives, co-workers, and good friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Hembree. Visitation of family and friends will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 3 in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., also in the Tri-County Chapel with Chris Clem officiating. Pallbearers: Donnie Bishop, Randy McKnight, Logan Moore, Dan Gallagher, John Marlow, and Chris Zirkel. Honorary pallbearers: Danny Grant and Lonnie Fowler. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery on Hwy. 9 in Salem, Arkansas.
