Helen Mansfield

Helen Bernice Mansfield, age 95, departed this life Thursday, August 20, 2026 in Lexington, Georgia. She was born January 23, 1931 in Hornersville, Missouri, the daughter of Bond and Dora Williams. Helen made her home in Hardy, Arkansas, where she lived most of her life, except for the last few years, when she lived with her daughter, Anita Mansfield Scoggins, in Lexington, Georgia. Helen was a devoted mother and homemaker and a fine Christian woman who loved serving God.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of forty-six years, Homer Mansfield; and two sisters, Jean Mansfield and Ruby Parker.

Helen is survived by three daughters: Judy Mansfield Martin (Hudson) of Melba, Idaho, Linda Mansfield Lee (Shawn) of Caldwell, Idaho, and Anita Mansfield Scoggins (Michael) of Lexington, Georgia; one son, Michael Keith Mansfield of Norfork, Arkansas; daughter-in-love, Vicki Mansfield; fifteen grandchildren; forty-seven great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be Friday, August 28, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at 1540 Highway 62/412 in Highland, Arkansas. 

Funeral services with Bro. Jason Jackson officiating will be Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in Christian Tabernacle north of Hardy at 1419 Arkansas Highway 175 (the old Wirth Road). Interment will be in Eagles Rest Cemetery behind the church.
