Herma Armitstead

Herma Tilda Dalton Rice Armitstead, 98, of Ravenden Springs, Arkansas passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the Randolph County Nursing Home in Pocahontas, Arkansas. She was born September 3, 1926 to William and Minnie (Grimms) Dalton at Ravenden Springs. Herma worked many different jobs in her lifetime as well as being a homemaker. She was a long-time member of the Ravenden Springs Baptist Church and loved her Lord.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two husbands, Lester Rice and E.C. Armitstead; four brothers; two sisters; one son; two grandsons; three granddaughters; and twin great-grandsons.

Herma is survived by one son, William "Bill" Rice (Regina) of Camp, Arkansas; four daughters: Erma Feigenspan (Marv) of North Liberty, Iowa, Kay Johnson (Rich) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Peggy James of Ravenden Springs, and Judy Craft (Dale) of Ravenden Springs; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at the Ravenden Springs Baptist Church on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.
