Jack Carr

Jack Leroy Carr Sr., 85, of rural Hardy, Arkansas, passed away July 20, 2020, in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born April 14, 1935, in Danville, Illinois. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had worked as an over-the-road truck driver. He was a member of Liberty Hill Church. Jack loved his family and enjoyed “tinkering” with cars. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Gertrude Collins Carr; two brothers, Richard and Raymond; and his wife, Judy. Survivors include his daughter, Dina Bartlett; three sons: Richard, Steve, and Jack Jr.; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jim and Larry; many other relatives and friends. Graveside services: Tuesday, July 21, 2020, in Liberty Hill Cemetery with Pastor Joe Kaiser officiating. Arrangements were with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
