Jimmie Stovall

Jimmie W. Stovall, 82, of Highland, Arkansas passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024 in a Little Rock hospital. He was born July 12, 1942 in Joiner, Arkansas to Marcus and Amy Elizabeth Ohler Stovall. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, William Stovall; two sisters, Jane Kennedy and Betty Jewel; and a son, Jimmie W. Stovall II.

Survivors include his wife, "B. J." Stovall of the home; Dan Stovall (Grey) of North Carolina and Richard Hepler (Dana) of St. Louis, Missouri; a brother, Jerry Stovall; a sister, Shirley Jackson; five grandchildren: Elizabeth Stovall, Benjamin Stovall, Shayna Hepler, Morgan Collins, and Ashley Kelley; six great-grandchildren; many other relatives and good friends.

Jimmie was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed being outdoors in nature: he played golf, participated in various lake activities with his fun-loving family, and liked flying remote control airplanes. He was a retired Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force and had worked in law enforcement.

Private services with military honors will be at a later date.
