John David "JD" Edwards

John David "JD" Edwards, 79, passed away at his residence near Ravenden, Arkansas.  He was born in Strawberry and had worked in maintenance at a shoe factory.  He enjoyed the outdoors, driving his truck and riding his motorcycle.  His fur baby pet companion Sissy is surely missing him. JD was preceded in death by his parents, David Theodore (DT) and Junie Marie (McPike) Edwards, his son, Jody, and his brother, Teddy Carrol Edwards. Survivors include his children: Jason, Timmy, Jamie, Johnny, and Jennifer; several grandchildren; brothers, Dave Edwards of Bono and Billy Wayne Edwards of Oxford, and a sister, Tywana Marie Edwards of Paragould.  Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family. Family and friends will be celebrating his life Wednesday, January 22, at 6:30 p.m. in Lighthouse Baptist Church, #7 Ponderosa Dr., Williford, AR 72482, with Rev. Jackie Pickett officiating.  All are invited to attend and share stories.
