Keith Gregson

March 25, 1958 — March 21, 2022

Keith Franklin Gregson, 63, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022 in Ashdown, Arkansas. He was born March 25, 1958 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Haltom and Nelle (Trevathan) Gregson, both who predeceased him. Keith was a graduate of Crowley’s Ridge Academy in 1976 and the School of Biblical Studies in Flint, Michigan in 1978. He dedicated his life to serving his community. He was a bus minister and youth director in his early twenties at churches in Flint and Jonesboro. Continuing his care for people, Keith held a full-time pulpit minister position at Ash Flat Church of Christ for 28 years followed by several years of preaching at Liberty Hill Church. He had a compassionate heart for ministry and founded, created, and directed the Family Life Outreach (FLO) program, which began in Sharp County, Arkansas and was followed by satellite programs in surrounding counties. The FLO program, which was Keith’s lifelong passion, was designed to work with at-risk families (court-referred or voluntary) to enhance parenting skills, foster family communication and cohesion, and develop anger management skills. Multiple community volunteers assisted with the FLO program. Keith also served as an Addiction Counselor and Security Guard in later years. Always passionate about sharing his love for people, Keith was a charismatic motivational speaker—speaking at local community events as well as the International Tulsa Workshop in Oklahoma and the Judges Conference in Little Rock. Keith spent 43 years happily married to Cynthia Rae (Blake), whom he wed on January 1, 1979. They raised three sons in Sharp County and spent free time as a family working on the farm, moving cattle, camping, and fishing. Keith could make any family gathering a hilarious, fun event. Survivors are his wife, Cynthia Rae (Blake) Gregson; sons: Jacob (Kim), Ben (Kaylee), and Aaron (Candice); brothers, David (Linda) and Norman (Gladys); sister, Vicki Henson (Marshall); grandchildren: Cayden, Connor, Sydney, Cole, Caleb, Caitlyn, and Will; and a multitude of other relatives and good friends. Services will include visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 25, at Tri-County Funeral Home and a Celebration of Life at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26, at Liberty Hill Church. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Kevin King Memorial Scholarship, 1627 Hwy 62/412, Hardy, Arkansas, 72542.
