March 1, 1940 — August 10, 2025

Wichita, Kansas

Larry Judd McKean, 85, was welcomed home by his Savior on August 10, 2025. Larry Mac was born on the family farm in western Pennsylvania to DP "Purdy" and Gladys McKean on March 1, 1940. He was predeceased by his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Diane McKean; brother-in-law, Don Diehl; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Calvin and Tillie Stark; sister-in-law, Lynne Stark; and niece, Traci McKean.

While his vocation was in the aircraft industry, his avocation was as an outdoorsman - hunting, fishing, and golfing. He also enjoyed travel and was able to visit dozens of beautiful places around the world accompanying Jo on Mary Kay awards trips. Most of all, Larry Mac loved serving the Lord, including over 50 years as a deacon, elder, and bible study leader at RiverWalk (Central) Church of Christ.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Jo Ann (Stark) McKean; his children, Tammy (Ron) Boss and Byron (Janice) McKean; grandchildren: Tyler (Nicole) Boss, Ryan (Jenna) Boss, Emma (Alex) Williams, Cara (Douglas) Hurst, and Grant McKean; great-grandchildren: Calvin, Mac, Mason, Griffin, Barrett, Cade, Tillie, and Lillian; siblings: Clair (Jara) McKean, Jan Diehl, Roger (Brenda) Stark, and Terry Stark; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

We were blessed to have this sweet man of God in our lives, and he will truly be missed. Memorials may be made to RiverWalk Church of Christ Missions Endowment Fund or Carpenter Place.

The family will have a private graveside service at a later date. Arrangements are with Heritage Funeral Home in Andover, Kansas and Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland, Arkansas.
