Loretta Jones

Loretta Jones, 79, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas went to rest in the arms of her Savior Thursday, June 16, 2022, at her home. She had lived in Cherokee Village for over twenty years and had lived in Rochelle, Illinois for thirty years, as well as various other places. Loretta was a member of the Church of Christ and will be remembered for her spunky attitude, her sweet spirit, her kind heart, and her unwavering faith. She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty years, Bobby Lee Jones; her father, Orlan Wallace; her mother, Vernie Wallace; one sister, Nonna Wallace; and one grandchild, Sarah Lang. Survivors include her children, Vernie Plummer and Kathy Bernard; her brother, Larry Wallace; her sister, Cindy Logue; her grandchildren, Karly Eklove and Jamie Smerdon; and her great-granddaughter, Kenzie Ray Smerdon.
