Loretta Wilkerson

Loretta Anne Wilkerson, 65, of Ash Flat, Arkansas passed away early Friday morning, August 6, 2021 at her home. She was born in Memphis, TN, the daughter of Travis Leon and Margaret Lorraine Hamm Wilkerson; they both preceded her in death along with a sister, Jennifer. "If you met her, you loved her." Loretta was a people person with a special gift of sharing her personality with others. She extended that gift in handling and working with all types of animals. Her hobbies included rock and arrowhead hunting, photography, painting pictures, and writing poems. Some of her poems were published by the Poetic Society in Washington, D.C., and she had pictures published in the Rural Arkansas magazine. Survivors include her sisters, Kathy Holliday of Ash Flat and Patricia L. Wilkerson of Hernando, MS; her brothers: Paul H. Alford Jr. of Horn Lake, MS, Vernon Wayne Crawford of Ash Flat, Kenneth Ray Davis of Brooksville, FL, Thomas L. Davis Jr. of Ash Flat, and Claude Earl Wilkerson of Senatobia, MS; numerous nieces and nephews, many other relatives, and good friends. Family services will be at a later date. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
