Mary Gentry

Mary Louise Gentry of Cherokee Village, Arkansas passed away July 15, 2021 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, AR. She was born June 6, 1943 to Ira R. and Ila C. (Spires) Gentry in Jacksonville, Illinois. Mary was of the Baptist faith and worked as a dietician for 49 years in Mercy Hospital in Davenport, Iowa. Mary never married but loved her siblings, nieces, and nephews with all of her heart. She retired to Cherokee Village in 2000 to be closer to her mother. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Ira & Ila Gentry, and siblings: Jerry, Billie, Ray, Timmy, Mary, and Kathy Gentry. Survivors include brothers: Bobby of Williford, AR, Ralph of Moline, IL, & Donald of Cherokee Village; sisters, Wanda Leamon of Davenport & Ruth Corlis of Ash Flat, AR; nieces: Tammy & Terri Leamon, Pam Schroeder, & Paula Vahena; nephews: Ira & Joshua Gentry. She was loved by them all and will be greatly missed.
