Max Kirkland

Max Millard Kirkland Jr. passed away in Ash Flat, Arkansas. He was born more than 87 years ago to Max and Mona (Dotson) Kirkland and became a diligent worker at whatever job he had. In his spare time, he enjoyed puzzle books. "Maxie" was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Darlene Ray, and a brother, William Kirkland. Survivors include his sisters, Laura of Glencoe and Glenda of Highland, as well as other relatives and friends. Visitation of family and friends will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, January 21, in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. with Johnny Carter officiating. Burial will be in Wiles Cemetery at Ash Flat. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations to help with funeral expenses would be appreciated by the family and accepted at Tri-County Funeral Home or mailed to P.O.
