Michael Bass

Michael Joe Bass was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa and passed away in Cherokee Village, Arkansas. He served in the U.S. Air Force tracking satellites and then worked for Home Depot in Pflugerville, Texas before retiring to Cherokee Village. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Evelyn; his first wife, Sandra; and a brother, Jim.

Survivors include his wife, Jolene; two brothers, Charlie (Judy) and Bob; three sisters: Shirley, Donna (Denny), and Kathy (Suzanne); many other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. June 27, 2026 in Liberty Hill Church and also at 11 a.m. July 15, 2026 at Faith Lutheran Church in Harcourt, Iowa with burial in Lost Grove Cemetery at Harcourt.
