Ola Ferguson

November 12, 1919 — October 2, 2020

Ola Idean Clifft Ferguson was born November 12, 1919 and departed this life October 2, 2020. She was the daughter of D. A. “Ed” Clifft and Opha Thomas Clifft, both of whom preceded her in death. Ola married Leonard Ferguson in 1940, and they had two daughters, Norma Jean and Rhonda. They owned and operated a general store at Myron for 39 years and also farmed. Ola spent her 100 plus years as a Myron resident and was a member of Myron Baptist Church; Leonard preceded her in death. She later married Clois Fowler who also preceded her in death as did her sister, Marie Clifft Woods, a baby brother, Thurman Clifft, and a son-in-law, Bill Orr. Survivors include Nola Clifft Dillard, her older sister; daughters, Norma Jean Orr and Rhonda Moody (Johnny); grandchildren: Kendall Stroud (Tammy), Kelly Quinn (James), Beth Ann Foster (Matt), John P. Moody (Crystal); great-grandchildren: Justin Vaden, Cody Stroud, Tyler Stroud, Lily Foster, Shawna Beth Foster, and Kimber Moody; great-great grandchildren, Able Vaden and Ava Vaden. James Quinn will officiate a graveside service at 10 a.m. October 5, 2020, in Violet Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Vaden, Cody Stroud, Tyler Stroud, Larry Jackson, Leland Jackson, and Frankie Sharp. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Myron Baptist Church in her memory. Arrangements are entrusted to Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
