Paul Richard Harris

Paul Richard Harris, 82, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, passed away April 27, 2019, in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born May 10, 1936, in Berkeley, Illinois. Paul loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his passion was playing golf. He was a stock car enthusiast and enjoyed NASCAR. He had worked as an electrician and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dorthy (Vance) Harris; brothers, Frank & Jack; and son, David. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Jean; son, Richard (Rebecca) of Addison, Illinois; daughter, Robyn (Thomas) Pawelko of Lemont, Illinois; grandchildren: Kelli, Alexander, Sarah, Aimee, & Matthew; great-grandchildren: Ella & Thomas; brother, Robert (Nancy); sisters, Jean Schultz & Nita Salva; and many other relatives and good friends. Visitation of family and friends will be Monday, April 29, 2019, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas.
