Shannon Vargas

Shannon Marie Vargas, 49, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, was born in LaJolla, California.  She was a reserve fire fighter and enjoyed kayaking.Shannon is survived by her husband, Thaddeus Wellman; a daughter, Nansy Hughes; three sons: Michael Vargas, Anthony Vargas, and Gordon Teague; her parents, Stephen (Kay Lynn) Hughes of San Diego, California, and Nansy (Coronado) Dibernardo of Williford, Arkansas; a sister, Amber Corbett; three brothers, John Corbett, Aaron Hughes, and Michael Hughes; an expected granddaughter; and many other relatives and good friends. Memorial visitation of family and friends will be Saturday, June 2, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas.
