Shirley Minick

Shirley Irene Minick, 77, passed away at her home. She was born to Alvin Harvey and Florence Anna (Woodcock) Haner, both who preceded her in death. Her husband of almost sixty years, David, a brother, Eugene Haner, a sister, Bonnie Garrett, and one grandson also passed away earlier. Shirley was a Christian.

She thoroughly enjoyed reading, doing artwork, and cooking for everybody. She expressed her love for her family through wonderful meals and spending special time with her grandkids.

Blessed with a large extended family, Shirley is survived by her children, Anthony & Evelynn Minick of Evening Shade and Tirenia & Maurice Desmedt of Lake City; numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Haner and a sister, Carolyn Pulley; several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives as well as good friends.

A graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2025 in the Bolivar Cemetery at Harrisburg, Arkansas.
