Terry Sullivan

Terry Lee Sullivan, 77, of Hardy, Arkansas passed from this life on September 14, 2025. He was surrounded by his family when he took his final breath at White River Medical ER Complex in Cherokee Village, Arkansas. Terry was born September 29, 1947 in Trumann, Arkansas to Robert and Gladys Sullivan. He was united in marriage to Ella Faye Fugate on November 17, 1965 and was looking forward to celebrating 60 years of marriage this year with his best friend.

Terry spent his career working for the State of Arkansas and also served in the Army National Guard. He enjoyed building model cars and collecting die-cast model cars with his grandkids. Other hobbies included hunting, fishing, collecting coins, and working on hotrods.

He was preceded in death his parents; a daughter, Lawanda "Wendy" Sullivan; his brothers, John L. Sullivan and Greg Throgmartin; his sisters, Patricia Arms and Peggy Throgmartin.

Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Ella Faye Sullivan of the home; daughters, Sherry (David) Parks and Melonie (Cedric) Scott, all of Jonesboro, Arkansas; son, "Little" Terry Lee Sullivan II of Hardy; grandchildren: Cassey Collins and daughter, Ava, of Jonesboro, Chasity (Matthew) Green and children: Caleb, Caleigh, Cason, and Callie of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Kaylin (Douglas) Moore and children, Hailee and Heidi Jo of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Terry Trey Bird (Allie) Sullivan and children: Brady Lee and Lily of Paragould, Arkansas, Kannon Scott of Paragould, and Kylee Scott of Jonesboro. The family also sends a heartfelt THANK YOU to Missy Rush for her unending love and care for the family and especially Terry.

Visitation of family and friends will begin at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2025 in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at 1540 Hwy. 62/412, Highland, Arkansas. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Bro. Kenneth Doke officiating. Speakers will include Caleigh Farrar, Lloyd Inzer, and Kaylin Sullivan Moore.

Burial will be in Wiles Cemetery at Ash Flat, Arkansas with the following serving as pallbearers: "Lil" Terry Sullivan II, Trey Sullivan, Jimmy "JJ" Turner, Kannon Scott, Allen Mangrum, Pam Skaggs, Douglas Moore, Donnie Fugate, Mike Sullivan, and Chevy Sullivan.  Honorary pallbearers will include David Parks, Danny Throgmartin, Lloyd Inzer, Floyd Inzer, Jim Moore, Cedric Scott, and Jimmy Fugate.
