Tomas Sandoval Payan

Tomas Eduardo Sandoval Payan, 71, of rural Hardy, Arkansas passed away November 3, 2022. He was born in Balleza, state of Chihuahua, Mexico on March 18, 1951 to Francisco and Cleotilde Payan Sandoval, both who preceded him in death along with his wife, Mirna Sanchez Chaparro, one brother, and three sisters. He became a naturalized citizen of the United States of America and lived most of his life in Kansas. Tomas traveled with his job as a welder on the pipeline. He enjoyed boxing, nature walking, fishing, baseball, and dogs (especially his "smart bilinqual Shorty"). Tomas was known for his great sense of humor and his honesty. Survivors include his daughter, Rosadelia and son, Tomis; four grandchildren; several brothers; a sister; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, November 19 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Stafford Senior Center in Stafford, Kansas. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
