Vera Plemmons

Vera Paulette Powell Plemmons was born in Williford, Arkansas and passed away in Cabot, Arkansas. She had a full life of 81 years and a loving family. Vera was active outdoors as she enjoyed gardening, fishing, golfing, laughter, and music. She was also a songwriter and a member of Sherwood Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Roy John and Inez Rose (Ladd) Powell, two sisters, Burlene Jackson and Inez Josephine Arnold; a brother, Roy Powell Jr.; and her husband, Joe Plemmons.

Survivors include her children, Paula Plemmons (Kim Dougan) of Austin, Arkansas and Matthew Plemmons (Julio Garza) of Phoenix, Arizona; two brothers, Rudy Powell (Judy) of Williford and Randall Powell of Lonoke, Arkansas; many other relatives and good friends. 

A graveside service will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2025 in Bradford Cemetery near Williford with Jackie Pickett officiating.
