Warren "Jim" Hussung

July 8, 1942 — September 16, 2026

Warren Lee Hussung was born, the first of twins, July 8, 1942 in Sterling, Illinois to Roy and Sophia Paget Hussung at their home. He passed away at the age of  84 on September 16, 2026 in his home outside of Hardy, Arkansas. "Jim" graduated from Sterling High School in 1960. He became a draftsman and tool designer for France Mfg. and Ntl. Mfg. while raising a family in Sterling with his wife, Bonita "Bonnie"; they married August 29, 1964. The family moved to Hardy, Arkansas in 1977, and Jim worked in real estate and as an architect starting a career in construction which included the physicians' offices and former Eastern Ozarks Hospital in Cherokee Village as well as the original Abundant Life Church. 

He was an active member of Spring River Baptist Church and Abundant Life leading mission trips to Honduras and El Salvador. His hobbies included caring for pigeons from the age of 5, fishing with his kids and grandkids, and enjoying family get-togethers.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings: Francis, Edwin, and Lois Ann Hussung, Karen Hussung Roberts (twin), and Van Hussung.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Dahlgren Hussung; children: James (Amy), Jeffrey (Tammy), and Jonathon Hussung; grandchildren: Bryant, Jonathon (Chelsey), Josh (Jennifer), Michael (Hannah), Beth (Jeff), Christina, Chase, and Garrett; twenty great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold Hussung; many other relatives and good friends.

Memorial services will be in October.  Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home, 1540 Hwy. 62/412, Highland, AR 72542.
